About Me :)
My name is Trina Wetzel and I teach Social Studies, Language Arts and Enrichment on 8 South.  This is my sixth year teaching at Franklin Middle School and I have very much enjoyed the time I have spent here.  I am very  excited to get back to school and meet the new group of students!  Great things are planned in Social Studies and Language Arts, as well as completing a World War II documentary project with my Enrichment class.  Do you know any veterans?

I am from Champaign and have lived here almost my entire life.  I graduated from Concordia University in Chicago with a degree in Secondary Education Social Sciences, with a designation in History and came back to teach in my home town.  When I’m not teaching, you would most likely see me in the gym, as I am the 8th grade volleyball coach here at Franklin or out on the field, as I coach softball for Centennial High School. If I make it home, I of course enjoy spending time with my family and friends!  I also love reading, watching movies and playing with my neices Madison and Molly!
